This developmental toy is for baby who can sitting up well. All you have to do is help your baby or let him/her drop the wooden ball into the hole at the top of the box and watch it rolls down the ramp and comes out to the tray. This allowing the little one experience object permanence by seeing that the ball did not disappear, it is still there.
